Illustration Thinking Process

Lucky enough to squeeze in a day at the INKie workshop conducted by Jason Moss. Been following some of his works on Children’s Book Illustration since College so I wouldn’t dare miss this opportunity.

Did a collaboration w/ Jason himself & w/ fellow INKie Ver. In this exercise, we got to establish numerous scenarios on how to execute a focal point, use negative space, when to stop, etc.Β  to achieve a balance & visually communicate to others. It’s been a while since I’ve done some manual painting, I’m going back to basics again.Β  πŸ™‚

You can check out the ANG INK tumblr to view the INKies at work during the seminar.
