Detox and Invigorate the Senses at Posh Nails

Stress is a part of our modern life. May we be faced by the daily challenges of living in the urban jungle or giving the extra mile to reach one’s goals. Constant wear and tear, the need to recharge inside out is inevitable. It was the middle of the week and I could feel the burn out with the work already. I decided then to head to Posh Nails to feel refreshed and renewed.

PoshNails-PinkPoshNails-BeautifulBeautiful and empowering words to live by on their walls.

The country’s top nail salon opened its doors 13 years ago, Posh Nails has been offering the best pampering experience for those who are in search to relax and unwind from a busy day. Its iconic pink and purple interiors are quite inviting, for the patrons to settle down as their highly trained technicians scrub, buff, polish all that stress away that the city life serves. The Pamper Queen and owner of Posh Nails, Cat Ilacad said “More than just a place where you can have your nails done expertly, I have always envisioned our Posh Nails salons to be a place where our customers can relax and feel pampered, where we can help them find comfort and ease from their stress.”

PoshNails-LizUyDuring our session, stylist and author Liz Uy dropped by to much of our surprise.

Cat introduced introduced a new nail salon service that specifically targets those who want to detox as they relax. The nail service is all about wellness, which is something that Cat values. We decided to celebrate Posh Nails’ 13th birthday by introducing the newest addition to our service menu called the DETOX Mani + Pedi. It uses all Cuccio products that have been personally tried and trusted. The main goal of the service is to offer our clients a wonderful pampering experience where skin is renewed and nails are revitalized.

The pampering package uses nature-based products that are designed to nourish and moisturize, with promise to deliver antioxidants that neutralize free radicals in the body caused by stress. Among the products used for the pedicure sessions are The Extended Massage Lotion with Shea Butter and Tuscan Grapeseed, which combines shea butter’s intensive moisturizing properties, and Tuscan grapeseed, antioxidants that neutralize free radicals; Pedicure Callus Softener with Mango and Papain, which contains antioxidants, minerals, proteins, and vitamins along with natural enzymes to gently exofoliate and reveal radiant, healthy skin; and the Pedicure Cuticle Softener with Pomegranate and Alpha Hydroxy that promises to gently, yet effectively, exofiliate, cleanse, and soften tissue and remove unwanted skin cells.

The Detox Manicure products include the Manicure Cuticle Soak with Aronia Berry and Tea Tree which softens, cleanses and refreshes hands and nails with Aronia berries that provide high levels of antioxidants and tea tree that has natural antiseptic qualities; the Manicure Milk and Honey Butter wash with jojoba beads to gently exfoliate skin while leaving it soft, and supple; and the Manicure Extended Massage Lotion with Seabuckthorn & White Tea that offers a nourishing, hydrating finish.
